WETLOOK
Many of you forget just how many years WSM Productions has been operating.
Here we show some examples of our early years work as we look at 3 vintage sets.
Image set W061 of Jacky was shot in 1979.
It was very early wetlook days, so all I could give was general advice on content and location. But you need a knowledgeable photographer.
So we end up with 4 varied outfits, but little understanding of how to use them for wetlook with an impact!
But very interesting pics from the late 70’s.
We show 4 sample shots from image set W061 of Jacky.

 

The 2nd Image set W070 of Ali from 1982 is even more interesting.
I think it was probably the first custom set I had organized (excluding my partner Mike Whyman).
And I was as adventurous as ever!
Fancy trying to shoot a wet clothed set in the lounge!
Basically, it did not work……… or should I say it did not work to my satisfaction.
By the time Ali got from the paddling pool to recline on the furniture….the wetlook effect was lost.
So in the end Ali just used the paddling pool and bath.
So an interesting record of one of my early wetlook attempts as I was present directing, but not shooting the photos.

For the 3rd set we go back to June 1983 and one of the first photosets I shot.
Image set W104 has the long legged EVE given more chores for over-spending her budget.
