TODAY WE CELEBRATE OUR 44TH BIRTHDAY!

 

When did WSM Productions commence?

It started under the name of WET SHOTS just selling slide sets.

John Swindail from Stoke-on-Trent and Mike Ellison entered into a partnership from 1st October 1981.

The first retail sale of £63.03 was banked 3rd December 1981 at Barclays Bank, 36 Town Road, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

And did the world embrace this new concept of slide images?

With sales of £6,170 to 30th September 1982, in a world without any internet or videos……I would say they did!

Note that this would be equivalent to £27,830 in 2025 money!

So our birth date is 3rd December 1981.

By 1984 we had changed our name to WSM Productions.

So we have now traded for 44 continuous years.

And by continuous we mean that we continue to produce movies and image sets.

You wish to know how the WAM movie business commenced?

Well here are the details!

Our first movie started filming 18th August 1985 in Somerset.

The result was the first commercially produced WAM video.

This was ‘The Hopeful Starlet’ which is still available under www.wsmprod.com within the ‘Downloads – Online Store’ under Digital Download – VINTAGE FILMS (Vintage Film 1).

 

BIRTHDAY ARTICLE FOR WSM’s 44th BIRTHDAY

I Mike Ellison have written over many years on the progress of WSM, so this year is time for a change.

One person who has supported me over the years is known as Professor Treacle.

Here is an article from him on his association with WSM.

 

WSM & Professor Treacle

My association with WSM began in 1981 when I first met Mike Ellison.

When he expanded his successful business Wet Shots, to include girls not only getting wet, but also messy, he invited me to submit ideas.  The rest is, as they say, history.

 

Slapstick, or sploshing as it is now widely known, probably began in circus when clowns would get into messy situations for laughs.  It developed into having a girl involved who, probably complained about the mess they were making and got messed herself… also for laughs.

Firstly, we apologize that we have slipped one week with our Update.

But sometimes matters are just beyond your control.

What have we got right?

This is our 730th Update reaching back to 2009!

WSM have been successful in securing the legacy rights for the movies published by Artscene (David Wilkey) and Aquantics (Roger Carpenter).

It will be rather more difficult to physically obtain the full file content, which we believe should amount to over 60 movies.

We will be working with a long standing USA friend to remaster and upscale these old VHS quality movies into HD quality, plus provide a USA sales outlet.

So we request your patience as these legal matters are resolved.

Plus we must also consider the future, for I am described as the ‘Grandfather of WAM’. Future WSM continuity is assured as WSM will be appointing ‘Custard Couple’ as our beneficiary.

 

SUBSCRIPTION MOVIE DOWNLOAD FAILURES

It has been drawn to my attention that certain movies in the Subscription site are not downloadable.

So ALL new SUBSCRIPTIONS are WITHDRAWN.

I am not promoting them until every movie is downloadable.

But what is wrong with our current subscribers?

Why not tell me?

Okay, so the contact us section gives a more than useless email address.

But how many other websites give you a direct phone line?

And the number of WSM enquiries on that line during 2025 is zero!

As both their widows remain we need to ensure consent plus a just and equitable settlement with appropriate sales income shares.

 

We have also made contact with a long standing USA friend who can assist in upscaling and remastering these old SD quality movies into HD quality plus provide further USA sales outlets.

So we request your patience as these legal matters are resolved.

Plus we must also consider the future for I am described as the ‘Grandfather of WAM’ and future agreements must identify worthy WAM successors as well.

 

WHAT DO WE HAVE IN THIS UPDATE?

1.        This year we commenced a new series of Download movies.

Before April 2017 there were HD movies that were not offered as Downloads as they had been swept into our Standard Subscription site.

We are now adding a HD movie each Update that gives you the option to Download just that one movie rather than take a Subscription Membership.

1. Bedroom scene as Mrs. Custard Couple (CC) does a strip for Mr. CC – see sample pic 1

2.  On to the Adult Game Show as Mrs. CC has to retrieve her clothes from within the foodstuff bowls – see sample pic 2.

3.  Mrs. CC must then get re-dressed in her very messy clothes – see sample pic 3.

When she adds her dress the effect is stunning with slick and shiny shots – see sample pics 4 and 5.

4.  Next Mrs. CC has her clothes gradually ripped off – see sample pic 6.

5.  Then she is splosh dunked – see sample pic 7.

But in WSM we have ‘W’, ‘S’ and ‘M’.
