WSM celebrates 42 years of continuous trading
We are the oldest WAM business in the world!
When did WSM Productions commence?
It started under the name of WET SHOTS just selling slide sets.
John Swindail from Stoke-on-Trent and Mike Ellison entered into a partnership from 1st October 1981.
The first retail sale of £63.03 was banked 3rd December 1981 at Barclays Bank, 36 Town Road, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
And did the world embrace this new concept of slide images?
With sales of £6,170 to 30th September 1982, in a world without any internet……I would say they did!
So our birth date is 3rd December 1981.
By 1984 we had changed our name to WSM Productions.
And today sees 42 continuous years of trading for WSM Productions.
Our first movie started filming 18th August 1985.
The result was the first commercially produced WAM video.
This was ‘The Hopeful Starlet’ which is still available in the ‘Online Store’ under Digital Download – Vintage Films (Vintage Film 1).

Well here it is in our image sets and Digital Downloads!
Currently we are in a crisis over our WSM website.
Due to my health and my other activities the website has not been updated as much as it should been.
But WSM had a supreme period which built the present legacy.
Did you know that from 4th December 2009 until 31st December 2021 WSM updated weekly!

Who influenced WSM to start our own website?
Some may think it was Bill Shipton of ‘Splosh’ fame.
But not so.
Bill always struggled with the new technology but he was a brilliant writer and ideas man.
The reality was that Rob Blaine had convinced me in the late 90’s that websites were the only way forward.
Rob Blaine was the greatest American WAM man of the 20th Century.

So what do we have to celebrate our 42nd Birthday?
- A discounted offer on our Subscription site commencing from 10th December.

- The WSM UMD Store continues to grow. Currently we have 186 movies posted (a year ago we had 156 movies). We reveal our next movie addition and the most exciting new UMD Download Store recently introduced by our cherished associates Custard Couple.
- Our website https://www.wsmprod.com is remarkable! Did you know that you can page back by update as far back as 2nd May 2015? We show you a proof as we lift a listing of Images we used when we celebrated our 34th Birthday on 3rd December 2015 with a selection of Before and After shots from published sets.
- We reveal one person, who has had very little publicity, but was so, so influential on the development of WSM. He strongly features in WSM over a 20 year period from 1984 to 2004 and has left a wonderful legacy. But today there is a 12 page article on his activities from 2002 to 2004.
- SUBSCRIPTIONS
We have 3 Subscription packages which allow Streaming & Downloading.

GOLD SUBSCRIPTION – this has been a recent introduction.
This covers the WSM XXX movies only.
Although we have produced 103 XXX movies there are 16 ‘time barred’ (under our 2 Year Rule) and a further 8 movies covering Watersports that are not included.
There are 79 movies published on the Gold Subscription site.
These are the following movies currently time barred under our 2 Year Rule and so excluded from the Gold Subscription site:
XXX numbers 076, 084, 088, 089, 093, 094, 095, 096, 097, 098, 100, 101, 103, 104, 105 and 106 (16 in total).
For the Watersports/Pissy the following movies are not included in the Gold Subscription site:
XXX numbers 010, 039, 046, 056, 062, 072, 082, 092 (8 in total).
Of course all these 24 listed movies are available as Downloads on our website at https://wsmprod.com at ‘Downloads – Online Store’ then ‘XXX Section.’
And the cost of a one month Subscription to our Gold Subscription package of 79 movies is:

This is one of the best WAM value sites on the net with 491 movies

SUBSCRIPTIONS limitation.
Since 14 April 2017 we commenced a policy that our new Download movies transferred to the (Standard) Subscription site after 2 years as a Download.
We confirm that this policy continues and now includes XXX movies.
- WSM UMD Store
Our WSM UMD STORE continues and there are currently 186 MOVIES and IMAGE sets which offer a remarkable range of shoots from our movie infancy in 1985 to the present.
Next movie up is XXX005 as we go back to November 2011 to see Custard Couple’s first Xmas presentation (which runs 22 minutes).

MYSTERY WSM INFLUENCER

And our mystery man is none other than Professor Treacle.
The Prof has written an article which runs 11 pages and includes images to illustrate his article.

Our next Update will be on 16th December.
I apologize but there was insufficient time to prepare a movie and image set for our Birthday.
A new movie should be added by 30th December.
